The TOPS Knives HOG 4.5 Fixed Blade Knife was designed by retired USMC Scout Sniper David “Norseman” Williams, earning its name from the Marine Corps term Hunter of Gunmen (HOG). Built for serious field use, this tactical knife embodies decades of experience in the harshest environments, where reliability and comfort are non-negotiable.

Unlike many tactical knives with aggressive but uncomfortable grips, the HOG 4.5 was born out of real battlefield necessity. Williams spent years refining the handle design, carving prototypes from wood and modifying them after every deployment until he created a grip that eliminates hot spots and hand fatigue. Combined with a rugged, high-performance blade, the HOG 4.5 is a true operator’s tool.

Crafted with a 4.38" 1095 high carbon steel blade, heat treated to RC 56-58, and finished with a durable black traction coating, the HOG 4.5 offers superior toughness and edge retention.
