- When to Replace:
- Replace when wick turns black with carbon buildup.
- Regular trimming extends wick life; replace after 2–3 trims.
- Wick Trimming Steps:
- Use tweezers or pliers to pull wick until clean portion appears.
- Trim wick evenly with chimney top using scissors or wire cutters.
Full Wick Replacement Guide:
- Step 1: Remove all components from lighter insert: flint screw, felt pad, old wick, and packing material.
- Step 2: Insert a new wick through chimney or from the bottom.
- Step 3: Bend the top over chimney to keep it in place.
- Step 4: Reinsert packing in layers, weaving the wick in an ‘S’ pattern.
- Step 5: Replace felt pad and flint spring carefully.
- Step 6: Reinsert into lighter case and trim the wick.

You can return your item within 30 days of purchase. After 30 days, unfortunately, we can’t offer a refund or exchange.
